Taming a Bright Background

I knew the gelli print background I created for these museum photos was bright but didn't realize quite how bright until I began working with it.  My options:

Scrap it
Make the photos pop
Or tone it down

These photos are from the High Museum of Art in Atlanta which is an excellent museum in a fantastic space.
