Going Back

Some places hold wonderful memories and some not-so-great memories and some hold both.  The beach in the photo is one of those places.  I never really planned to go back but sometimes you have to.

My parents were traveling and my dad had heart problems and landed in the hospital. So we went.  It all turned out fine.  I even got to walk on the beach in March (brr, it was a bit chilly).  I wanted to capture some of my thoughts on this page but they are very private. So I created a pocket for the journaling.  This page goes in my personal albums so I don't think anyone else is likely to read it anyway.

For the background, I'm using some of the deli prints from the videos in the last post. These were done on deli paper and created a soft background for these slightly misty photos and memories.
