Sale-a-bration at Stampin' Up! happens every year in the first quarter. For every $50 in purchases, you get a free gift. I don't buy nearly as much from them as I used to but I still love their cardstock and a few other things. So I do a SAB order. This year, I chose the Irresistibly Yours designer paper. This embossed cardstock is ready to be inked to show of the pattern.
I took one sheet and cut it to fit 6 card bases trying a different resist technique on each one. Here are the cards. The video shares all the details of creating the background and an overview of the finished cards.
Left: Chalks Right: Gelatos
Left: Ink refills Right: Spray mist
Left: Ink to paper Right: Ink pads and water
And now I have a bunch of birthday cards for 2015 all ready to go.

Don't forget that TrueScrap classes are discounted for a few days. I loved the Mixed Media class from Donna Salazar. Find out more at: TrueScrap 6

Love how the papers look with the inks. Fun way to use the same product with different techniques!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards with a variety of techniques, Lisa. And they go so quickly, too! Thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are so soft.
I love Stampin' Up card stock…but am so sad that they don't have textured 12x12 paper anymore :(
Beautiful cards Lisa - and thanks for taking the time to show all these techniques
