My Everyday Circus (video)
Normally, I never use preprinted title pages. I'm more of a B side scrapper. This paper from Fancy Pants has a really pretty red circle pattern B side; however, I couldn't resist the actual title. It is especially true of a layout about dealing with one of the many invaders of our bird feeder - a small opossum. The little critter lodged itself in the feeder at night last March and refused to move until daylight. Finally my husband put wire around the feeder in the late afternoon and removed in the mornings until the opossum got the "no vacancy" message.
So few creatures seem to understand that a bird feeder is for birds. Don't even get me started on the squirrels.
I trimmed the A side paper down some to save a bit of that red for other projects and used the homey plaid for the background with the middle cut out of course :-)
Some Washi dresses up this tag with a squirrel - I doubt anyone makes a opossum embellishment.
Here's the video at YouTube: (this has been reloaded to get all the audio)
Thanks for visiting today! If you are traveling this week for the US Thanksgiving holiday, I hope you will be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends. Today I am thankful for my kitty Jasper who keeps us entertained - and mouse free!

Great title, and that tag is so fun with lots of cute details.
ReplyDeleteThe audio stops after circus glossy accents. Anyone else having this issue???
ReplyDeleteYes, I don't know what happened. I'll upload it again.
DeleteThank you Lisa 😀!
DeleteWe have the battle of the bird feeders too. My husband has given up but I am still battling the dang squirrels!! Love the layout Lisa.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Love this LO Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI would actually really enjoy a video on the way you organise your supplies
I'm sorry I have not replied about this sooner. I do have a video from March showing my scraproom and closeups of the supply areas here http://youtu.be/NSEekNHpado Have you seen this one?
DeleteOh wow this is super duper fun! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLisa loved the layout, great way to use those A side papers. Really liked your washi storage box could you tell me the make and where you got it? Thanks for doing these videos I enjoy all your little stories
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh. I'm sorry. I have no idea where that box came from; I've had it for probably 10 years which rules out Hobby Lobby as they haven't been here that long. The brand name is Akro-Mils. It looks from their website like most of what they make is for tool storage so I might have gotten it at Sears or somewhere else that sells tool storage.
DeleteThanks Lisa I will check out the tool sections.
