Quick 3 Photo Page - sketch and video
These 3 4x6 photos are from Lenny's recent visit to Missouri for 'fishing.' He came up with the title as a lot of what they do is really goofing around. They seldom bring home any fish.
When he first proposed that title, I said, "That's a lot of f 's." He looked at me funny but you understand. It really takes a bite out of a pack of Thickers. When I explained it to him, he did suggest I cut the letters with my Cricut. Darn, that man can't remember where he leave his glasses, wallet, phone, pretty much anything but he remembers why I wanted a Cricut 3 or 4 years ago? "I can cut all my titles out of cardstock!" Oh well, I do use my Cricut; it's just Thickers are really irresistible :-)
The page came together very quickly. The banner goes with the nautical theme. The cord is some old drapery cord. I had about a 2 foot scrap that you really can't use for its intended purpose. The cork embellishments are a mix of very old Pink Paislee and some very new Little Yellow Bicycle.
Here's the video at YouTube:

Nice page! I'm the same way. I have a Silhouette, but also a huge stack of Thickers and it's so easy to reach for them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful page, Lisa! I love LOVE the knotted drapery cord with the pennants.. a perfect nautical addition.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the sketch, ITA I have a Silhouette but it takes time to use when my chipboard letters/stickers are right at hand.
ReplyDeleteThis is such fun layout.
ReplyDeleteI love the play on the title. and I so get running out of letters.
I too have a cricut, but hardly use it.
I love the rope with the knots for the banner string, very creative :)
