Each month, Artfuldelight.blogspot.com has a scrapbook sketch and a card sketch to play along with. I've used her card sketch for this one we did in card class last week.
It has taken me awhile to get over my literal self and embrace woodgrain in more than just browns. Here I used Pool Party ink on Pool Party paper from Stampin' Up! for the card base. The banner is misted over a Cricut cut image in Heidi Swapp green, peach and amethyst Color Shine mists. A Hero Arts sentiment and some Stampin' Up! ribbon finish it off.
This isn't the best photo I've ever taken for sure, but it is a soft delicate card for spring.
Hope you have a lovely day!
Fabulous card!! I love wood grain backgrounds. I have a stamp but yet to get an embossing folder. That will have to be my next purchase. LOL! Thank you for playing along with Artful Delight this month!! :-)
