The stamp set is one of Stampin' Up!'s hostess sets this year - Faith in Nature. I also used some of their paper with the embossing built in. I added pastels to bring out the design. SU! doesn't have this anymore but I saw some at Archivers recently. I don't know the manufacturer (sorry!) but I know this kind of thing still exists. I think they were called Mistables.

It is always rewarding to make a special card for others but it is kind of nice to make something pretty for yourself, too.
Love the subtle background colors, your butterflies and pearls!
ReplyDeleteLisa, this is beautiful! I especially like the pastels, AND the placement of the jewels. They are placed perfectly to give the illusion of floating or rising into the air. They're a perfect complement to the butterflies. What a wonderful inspiration. Think I'll make myself a card, too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous card! Love all the colors and embellishments you used.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so beautiful. The colours are stunning.
ReplyDeleteThe softness of it and that wonderful quote, beautiful.
I sometimes display my cards for a bit so I can keep looking at them as well.
I love the combination of soft fibers with the lace and ribbon. Beautiful card!
