Evening Bike Ride - 5 photos

Golfers aren't the only ones who appreciate a lush green lawn surrounded by lovely landscapes of palms, shrubs and lagoons filled with water birds.  Biking on the golf cart paths is one of our favorite ways to spend an evening on Hilton Head Island.  It is so peaceful and beautiful.  Biking is allowed after 7 on some of the courses.  We get to enjoy the courses this way since neither of us golfs.  This year on our ride we discovered a little island in the middle of one of the lagoons filled with white sea birds.

The layout is based on Shimelle's sketch for the 4x6 Photo Love class at Two Peas.  Four photos along the bottom plus one on the top on a two page spread give us five photos for month 5.

I did my own embellishments using some DSP I got recently from the clearance section at 2 P's.  I thought those little travel logos would come in handy. I punched 3 bikes out in different colors.  Each bike is layered with another punched circle and two die cut images from the Accent Essential's Cricut cartridge.  I was tempted to add some other embellishment but decided to stick close to the sketch and keep it simple.

Here is the link to the class via Shimelle's blog:  4x6 Photo Love May  or you can find it at twopeasinabucket.com

  5. I absolutely love your layout. The two of you, the trail you follow and what you see. It looks to be an area too beautiful just for golfers to enjoy. Great bike riders can enjoy it too.
