Inspired by a scrapbook page in Creating Keepsakes Magazine, I created this card for Thanksgiving. I have to admit the colors look more like Halloween. Oops! Oh well... the leaves were fun to do. They are punched from Vanilla cardstock, sponged with distress ink and then stamped and embossed with black swirls. The leaves are also edged in black ink. (I'm sorry, I did this card a few weeks ago and have reorganized my magazines. I didn't note who did the inspirational scrapbook layout. Another oops! for me.)
The bow is one of my favorite ribbons - organza from the fabric department of Hobby Lobby. It is always pretty and is very inexpensive especially when caught at 50% off.
Thanks for visiting today!
